Why Therapy?

Therapy is a proven, evidence-based approach to treating mental health challenges like anxiety, depression, panic attacks, and more.

Through therapy, you gain insight into how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence your moods, providing you with the tools to manage and transform your mental health.

While therapy can be tough at times, it’s worth it. The only way to overcome emotional struggles is to confront and work through them. No one should have to live a life filled with emotional pain.

Therapy is an investment in yourself—your future, your well-being, and your happiness.

Our Services

Individual

Individual therapy is a personalized approach where you work one-on-one with a therapist to explore the connections between your thoughts, behaviors, and emotions.

At A Decision Point, we work collaboratively to dive into your thought patterns and examine how they influence your actions. Sometimes, we are fully aware of the thoughts driving our behavior, but other times, they exist beneath the surface, in our subconscious.

Individual therapy provides a safe and supportive space to uncover and discuss these belief systems, especially those that may not be serving you well in your daily life. By gaining awareness of these patterns, you can begin to make positive changes that promote your emotional well-being.

Couple

Relationships are built on trust and emotional safety, but at times, both can be tested. Whether it’s due to infidelity, financial strain, communication breakdowns, unresolved conflicts, or traumatic events, these challenges can put a strain on even the strongest relationships.

In couples therapy, we focus on restoring these crucial elements—trust and emotional safety—through proven skills like healthy communication, conflict resolution, boundary setting, and transparency. By working together, couples can rebuild a foundation of understanding, respect, and connection that strengthens their bond.

Family

During stressful times, families can sometimes start to view each other as members of opposing teams. The unity that defines family can be overshadowed by blame and hurt, making it easy to forget that they are, in fact, one team—working together to solve problems, not tear each other down.

Family therapy, guided by a skilled therapist, creates a safe space for honest, open discussions, where each member can feel heard and understood. It addresses challenges like divorce or separation, financial issues, mental health struggles, and conflicts between parents and children. Through this process, families can rebuild cohesion and foster a renewed sense of togetherness, strengthening their bonds through communication and shared support.

SUPERVISION

What a person does for a living—especially when it’s a profession dedicated to helping others—can bring profound meaning and purpose to their life.

Our mission is simple: to strengthen that meaning and purpose by providing guidance, knowledge, and encouragement to new professionals entering the field. We aim to empower them with the confidence they need to develop and refine their clinical and therapeutic skills, ensuring they move forward with a sense of purpose and expertise in their work.

CONSULTATIONS

There are times when therapists can benefit from an outside perspective, especially when they feel stuck in helping a client. This is particularly true when personal blocks or barriers might interfere with the ability to connect or effectively apply therapeutic interventions.

At A Decision Point, we provide a space for collaborative reflection, helping you gain new insights and reorient yourself when you need it most. We work together to get you back on track, ensuring you can continue to provide the best care for your clients.
